The 6 foods you should NEVER eat!

Food is the most important chemical signal that instructs our bodies what to do, every cell and literally everything inside of our bodies.

I'm sure you would never want to put crappy petrol/diesel to your car(if you do have one, no offense), because you know your car won't work no more after filling it up, and that's how slowly we put junk foods to our lives and ruin our bodies.

Humans can be like frogs in water(again, no offense).

Here is what I mean, if you put a frog inside boiled water of course the frog would jump right outside the jar to save itself, but put the frog in cold water and start heating up the jar slowly, the frog would boil to death, humans too literally slowly boil to death by eating the foods we eat without paying attention to how the foods affect us.

I guess I'm being too talkative, so lets just jump straight to the main point;


 The 6 Foods You Should Never Eat

Every single human being literally knows what's bad for him/her, either he/she heard about it somewhere or has seen what the food has done to him/her.

But, the foods I say we should NEVER eat, we have to be careful with the word 'should'  because I can't judge people, but what I do is only give strong recommendations.

So, if I ever offend you in one way or another just remember that I am a humble health enthusiast learning and pointing out from the best nutritionists, as these foods are scientifically proven to cause diseases, or should I just offend you anyways?.

The following are the foods you should never eat and avoid at all costs;

   1. Trans Fats/ Hydrogenated fats

Trans fats are fats made from vegetable oil which are chemically altered through hydrogenation to stay solid at room temperature which in return gives them a longer shelf life. The vegetable oil is altered to become solid fat, which is very harmful to your body.


Examples of foods having trans fats are; 
  • Frozen dinners
  • Fries(chips)
  • Pizza
  • Microwave popcorn
  • Cakes, cookies, pies
  • Ice-cream
  • Cookies
  • Fast food burgers and etc
Delicious huh? well think twice, I was shocked too when I read this, and to be honest I do eat some things in the list up there, but in a limited amount, and I'm at a mission to avoid them for good, and trust me IT IS REALLY HARD, but for the sake of your health, you should try your level best to control yourself.

   2. High fructose corn syrup

Whenever a person hears fructose what comes to their mind is that its from fruits so its safe, well that's true but for fructose that is free and unattached to a fruit, fructose becomes a toxic compound(Fructox, a made up terminology, by me).

Abdul, I don't understand!, yes I didn't too when I first read this, so let me explain..

Fructose from fruits or vegetables is safe as it sounds, but fructose made artificially and is not attached to a fruit is deadly and toxic to your body, high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is commonly used in processed foods. Examples of the foods are;
  • Candy
  • Sodas
  • Packaged sweets
  • Breakfast Cereals
  • Flavored Yoghurts
  • Breads
  • Tomato Sauce and etc
We really should think twice!

   3. Ultra-processed foods

Ultra processed foods have been about 60% of the foods we eat everyday, and nowadays literally everyone has an ultra processed diet, here's what you should know;

According to Dr Mark Hyman every single day you take ultra processed foods your risk of early death goes up by 14%, now think about how many times you ate processed foods.


Ultra processed foods have been linked and connected to about numerous early deaths, so everyone should try their level best to reduce the intake of ultra processed foods.

   4. Artificial Sweeteners

Artificial sweeteners also known as sugar substitutes provides sweetness to foods compared to that of sugars, but these sweeteners provide up to 1000 times sweeter than the actual sugar, meaning it can be way more harmful to human beings.

There are different types of sweeteners, and they have hard names I can say, of which i'm sure most of us have never heard of them, here are are a few examples and where they are used at;
  • Aspartame: Commonly used in diet sodas and sugar-free gum
  • Saccharin: Known for its intense sweetness, mostly found in jellies and jams, toothpastes and mouthwash and many more
  • Acesulfame potassium (Ace-K): Used in various food and beverage products, they are also found in dairy products, some protein shakes and soft drinks

Artificial sweeteners harm your microbiome as well.

What is a microbiome?
They are a community of fungi, bacteria, parasites and viruses that play a big part in nutrition breakdown, ensure immunity of your body and many more other functions.

Now do you really want to ruin your microbiome?

   5. Refined Oils

Refined Oils undergo extensive processing to alter their properties, you might ask yourself so what's the difference with trans fats?

Well trans fats are mainly made out of a process called hydrogenation, while refined oils undergo extensive processing to absolutely alter their properties.


Refined oils include soybean oil, which is the oil that is used in making chicken nuggets, fries, mayonnaise, salad dressings, cookies, cakes, muffins, phew can't list them all can I?.

So, what oil is preferred to be safe to our bodies?
Avocado oil are important to our bodies, also olive oils are the best too, trust me these oils are fine and are very helpful to our bodies, but the highly refined oils are the worse and are linked to various diseases such as inflammation.

  6. GM foods

GM(genetically modified) foods also known as genetically engineered foods (GE foods), sometimes known as GMO foods, are the foods where different techniques are used that involve modifying the DNA of plants to give them the desired traits that they prefer such as improved growth, ease of farming and nutritional contents.

Example of GM foods include;
  • Corns/Maize
  • Papaya
  • Potatoes
  • Tomatoes

I think I was kinda harsh up there, 'The 6 foods You should NEVER eat!', sounded like Malcolm X or something, don't you think so?.

Every topic about health should be harsh for people to get straight with their health plans, because most of the people nowadays give 0 concerns on their healths.

Very oftenly people cannot eat 25 avocados but they can eat 25 cookies with no hesitation.

But, again it is hard leaving these stuff, just think about it, so I shouldn't eat bread at all?, NO NO, you eat your bread, eat those muffins too, but just consider eating them moderately and once in a while and don't make it your everyday routine.

Oh, I can't be saying these stuff if I don't have a solution to reduce eating unhealthy, many factors affect us such as our budgets, but a simple solution is that people should try is " The Clean 15 List" , this list consists of foods that are cheap and healthy too;
